Baz here, just would like to know what plans there are for the future of the club? I know there are things in the pipeline that are being looked into but I think the club needs an admin team that we get questions answered faster like a club shop, clothing, banners, backing and support.

I am the events organiser and I need to know if I get a gazebo of our own that we can get our hands on merchandise to sell at meets etc for the benifit of the members, I know Dyney and Buzz have stickers that they distribute, but they sometimes cannot make the meets , and as organiser it seems prudent for me to carry stocks and have access to clothing etc for the members of the club.

This is in no way criticism and I hope this will not open up a can of worms as that is not what I want to do, and if this thread offends anyone, then I will gladly step down as organiser, it just seems to me that there are things missing for this club to look ahead for the future, for meets and events. I can only do so much but to achieve my goals for this club I need backing and the admin support to obtain a clothing line, jackets, shirts etc and a regular supply of all graphics, sorry Dyney and Buzz if you feel I am stepping ion your toes, not my intention.

Hope someone can shed some light on things as I am sure this will be looked at with interest from memebers, after all it is everyones club and I would like to help push this club into the future with a supply of merchandise that will benefit all.

I am prepared to have a banner made, get our own gazebo, to promote the club but I need the clubs permission with the use of logos etc.

Many thanks for any feedback received, no matter what :thumb:

Lets hope something comes of it, as we would like to move this club forward and get more from the club, but I need the admin teams backing and support and a free reign on things.:thumb:

You know we have a gazebo. It's currently in my shed after Buzz brought it to the East Sussex meet that most people left for Coopers. I had to squeeze it in the Scoob along with a new dash and set of suspension.
It is currently stored in my Shed!

Stickers are quite expensive to hold a large stock. Buzz currenty has them and once we have enough to split between the 2 of us I will also hold a stock.

T shirts and clothing I'am looking in to, but due to the last clothing organiser being left considerably out of pocket I'm lothed to start ordering them before payment is taken.

I know about the gazebo, and you still aint banging on about that meet:waggle::2ponder: as for the gazebo, as the one you have is very big, a smaller one would be a better option with smaller events, the only reason you have the gazebo anyway is that Buzz arrived late to that meet, and after we left.

I understand that graphics/clothing etc is an expensive commodity and there is an easier option, like a shop that SES deal with, i.e Bigboolies also a graphics company that you can order direct from if they have an original as an example.

I can do all this if it is easier, input please.:thumb:

Thanks, Baz

Baz, its a bit difficult coz the admin team arent active on here. not the best situation but in a month i will try and see what I can do to sort a few things out.
Dyney as ever has been a star and getting a few of the merchandising things sorted but yes I agree we need to look into something a bit more long term.

Thanks Steve for the input and hopefully things will improve for the members of the club, we all want things to progress and I agree, Dyney and Buzz are doing a fantastic job with regards to stickers and the forthcoming shirts and rally graphics, we need more control so as to get official merchandise in the form of a shop.

We all want this club to push onwards and upwards through 2010 and make it a popular club for all its members, and so we will wait and see what you come up with.:thumb:

Well i have just upgraded the site, and added a few new features like Facebook integration, so if you link your account on here, and you 'like' a thread for example, it will also show on your Facebook news feed! that should help get some more users from the other sites around :-)
