yes they are legal i as you see many many new cars with leds fitted as standard like the audi range.This set is a good set as the led strip just sticks to the outside of the headlight or any other surface via the supplied backing.To wire it in is just a case of bridging into the sidelight wiring.Will take a couple of daytime pics so you can see the daytime effect.

Noooo.

Unfortunately this is the way it's all going. Daylight running lights are looking to become compulsary soon on new cars, so all the manufacturers will be pumping out this bling. I don't like them Audis either. I'm all for change, but haven't got my head roud these yet.
