View Full Version : Car rolling roaded today
Made 191(229fly) @ wheels don't know if thats good or bad(i was dissapointed),i have an Apexi panel filter & a straight through exhaust, also a Mines ecu,had the boost @ 0.8/.9 bar coz @ a bar it was pinking a little under load,i take it that was down to the Mines ecu:Susp:
Cars a 96 wrx import & has the smaller intercooler.....soon ditching that me thinks!!
but what was the touque
Will have a look later the graph is in the car:rolleyes:
I make 191 ATW about 258 Flywheel, so about right on 0.8bar.
These are the results some of us got at GTArt which only gave an 'At The Wheel Figure'.
We then had to work out the flywheel figure from info found on Scoobynet.
GTArt also mentioned that ATW is about 70-80% flywheel figure.
Seem to of found a good 'rule of thumb' figure for working out the 'Flywheel' BHP.
To get the ATW (At The Wheels) Figure from a Flywheel Figure, then mulitply the Flywheel x 0.74
To go the other way (which we want) then just divide the Wheels Figure by 0.74
Flywheel to ATW = Flywheel x 0.74
ATW to Flywheel = ATW / 0.74
Therefore :
Kieth - 239BHP/244lbft ATW, 322BHP/329lbft Flywheel
Pete - 233BHP/210lbft ATW, 314BHP/283lbft Flywheel
Wayne - 227BHP/220lbft ATW, 306BHP/297lbft Flywheel
Simon - 222BHP/224lbft ATW, 300BHP/302lbft Flywheel
Chris (GTArt) - 218BHP/205lbft ATW, 294BHP/277lbft Flywheel
Stuart - 214BHP/230lbft ATW, 289BHP/310lbft Flywheel
Steve - 199BHP/219lbft ATW, 268BHP/295lbft Flywheel
I feel better now....think he's put ATW & Fly figures on my graph, will have to go back tomorro to get the torque as i can't remember it
but what was the touque
About 190lbft
