the origional 4 pots look the best;)

You should get rid of those other brakes as soon as possible, you`ll probably have to give them away;) I may know someone who`ll take them from you:mrgreen:

Looking very nice:cool:

so why the change from the compbrake setup?

asthetics ?

i would have thought the brembos would not be as good with prolond useage due to the caliper construction?

A Combination :
Asthetics
I wanted to do the rears, and have got Gold Brembo's to 'make-fit' on the rear
Pad size on the Brembo, is larger then the CompBrake
The Pads rattled in the CompBrake Calipers, which annoyed me (although it can be fixed by getting sticky anti-rattle shims)

The main reason was I wanted a nice set of rears...

Selling the CompBrakes and my old 4-pots has fully funded the change to 2nd hand but Brand New Brembos and new EBC Turbo Grooved Disks Front & Rear.

thought there might have been some 'tart' ellement to it :p

since i've changed the pads in my brakes (also billett ali jobs) they rattle when you go backwards/forwards - anoying !

although i have seen the brembos do exactly the same !

time to convert to a different rear diff and hubs ? or Dyne-o-adapter ;) :D

Scottie-adaptor and 290mm WRX01> EBC Turbo Groove Disks.
As the Dyne-o-adapter won't fit (oh! and their more expensive then using the machine shop at work ;))

My Suabru 4-pots used to clonk when moving back/forth to park. But the CompBrake used to rattle on mildley rough surfaces and speed bumps. Sounded like the front wheels was about to come off....

You should have just brought yourself an STI in the first instance and saved yourself a fortune on mods :waggle: Tell you what sell it to me :norty:
