My wrx 98 is starting to realy smell. just went up for a late night trip to asda and when I got back i realised that my car smells like burnig oil. its always smelled but this seams like a new smell. am i just paranoid?

check the rocker cover seals. they normally leak , especially on the off-side onto the up-pipe , giving that lovely smell.
