View Full Version : Running with no lambda in the exhaust?!

Just remembered i have no lambda sensor in my exhaust,the old one was a small unit & the hole in the H&S was standard size so i was going to fit one from my mates old wagon but forgot:eek: ,anyway can it do any damage running without one?

No, none at all.
All it means is that on cruise the ECU will run from the fuel base map, rather then adjust the fuelling according to the lambda input.
To be honest they normally run smotther when cold without the lambda connected, due to a cold lambda giving false feedback..
