CEL code reading in sussex?

I need someone to pull a code on my 99 sport. Can anyone suggest a cheap garage to do it? I am having a problem as its giving me a code 26 which is air temp sensor but I cannot find this sensor on my car and not sure the sport even has one!!

you mean reset it ?

there is a procedure with the green connectors under the dash for that...

Hi, I am guessing that it needs to go on the Subaru select monitor as I am getting code 26 which is a just code not an impreza one. It is 2 x long flashes followed by 6 x shorter ones. I did reset the code and it just gave me a CEL again with the same code 26! its driving me up the wall!

select monitor is just a dumb thing. wont tell you more than 26. except voltages of sensors, which 'may' point to something, but will probably just read 5v if its broken (open cct)...

unfortunatly, the fault codes are usually totally false! :(
