how much difference does port and polish make to performance. only i'm thinking of having my old heads done if its worth while.:2ponder:

Port and polished heads can make a difference, but the cost will be huge for the gain. IYSWIM :)

I had a quote of about £500 per pair (I think).
Hard to say what performance increase you would see on car with minor mods.
Only already seriously tuned engines normally go down that route when they are trying to squeeze every last bit of power out.

Unless you are running a fully forged engine and big turbo I wouldn't bother :)
