Padded thing under bonnet!

Im gussing its some kind of heat shield for the bonnet,trouble is mine has been eaten by one of the pullys,lucky it tore and did not cause a problem.I have had to take it off tho as it was hanging into the engine.Is it ok to run it like this???? it looks a lot better without it..........

Yep it will be fine.
You may find the bonnet gets hotter after a drive and there might be a little more noise outside the car (with the bonnet shut) ;) but shoulkdn't adversly effect the running of the car.

Intresting read...........Some say do it some say dont lol.As its fallen apart its staying off tho ;)
