Hi Dyney mate. I have had this problem since i got the car and i now really want to get ti sorted.

Basicly I thought it was warped disks so i went fro the STI disk and caliper upgrade which i bought from JAP PERFORMANCE PARTS. I put brand new pads on and used some disks that they had had skimmed.

WHat happens is when i brake at any speed i feels like a warped disk. I have checked any movement on the front wheels. I just dont know what it is.

Any ideas (or could you have a look sometime please)?

Has it always done it with the new discs or has it just come back?
What pads are you using?

Does sound like warped discs or pad deposits on the disc (it's quite rare to "warp" a modern disc, it's usually pad deposits on the disc).

How bad is the wobble? Is it just a vibration or a full on wobble and you can see the wheel moving in your hands? :2ponder:

Well it has done it all the time . I have ferodo pads. The vibration is quite bad. You can feel it a lot when you apply the brakes. I do also get a wobble when reaching 60ish but i asume that is tracking. I dont think tracking should have anything to do with the brake wobble though?

The wobble at 60 could be wheel balance or it could be part of the bigger problem.
Could be a wheel bearing :2ponder: Hard to say with out seeing the car and maybe undoing the front hub nuts to check the bearing play.

Would you be able to have a look at it some time mate?

Flat out during the week and working weekends at the moment.
I might have time next Sat, but it's really going to need a ramp and a bit of investigation

Oh dear that sounds expensive. I am tight on cash atm

what you could try is swap the front wheels to the rear just to eliminate wheel balance.

also what we have had at work, try cleaning hub flange and wheel flange.:)

I would also rub the disc with some course grit sandpaper to remove any pad deposits.

Having thought about this today.
First thing I'd do is get the wheels checked for buckles and balanced :)

i think they might have a slight buckle but they definitly are balanced
