where is it? how do i get it out with out damageing it? and whats it worth? oh and is it a z4 on an 94 import? thanks again:thumb: :thumb:

It's under a metal plate in the passenger foot well.
IIRC the metal plate has 3 x 10mm bolts and a 10mm nut
ECU is then held in by another 10mm nut

Unplug it and out it comes :)

Not sure what cars were fitted with the Z4

Post Sept 1994 WRX until 1996.
You can tell if it's post Sept 94 as the radio aerial is on the rear wing.

I'm after an ECU for some development/bench work, but I doubt I'll pay what a Z4 is really worth. ;)

thanks for the info. the ariel is on the drivers window pilar so i take it that meens its not a z4.:thumb:

Looking at the pic of your scoob the ariel is on the rear wing and there for should be a Z4 :2ponder:
