Wheel sizes etc...

Hiya

Could someone tell me how i find out what wheel size i need if i want to replace my stock wheels?

All this ET, pcd, 7j, offset etc is a bit confusing :2ponder:

Edit: i have a 54 plate STi

PCD is 100/5 (there are 5 bolt holes and the diameter between the holes is 100mm)
Offset is ET53 though you don't have to stick to that rigidly some run as low as 45 (Depends on suspension and brakes fitted though)

7j is the width of the wheel rim in inches - 7"


As std yours should be 17 x 7.5 (I think) 100/5 ET53
It will be on the back of the wheel :)

With the STI you have to begger problem of the massive brakes that mean you need extra clearance behind the spokes.
Not all wheels will fit on an STI, so make sure the supplier lists them for a New age STI and that they will guarantee they fit :)

These are the wheels im interested in Ultralite ES-941 (http://www.scoobynet.com/private-sale-general-17/585607-ultralite-es-941-sale.html) i guess these wont fit my Scoob then?

Edit: Looks like they will only fit a classic, couldn't see any on a newage on Scoobynet :(

Nope they will not fit a New age STI (though they will fit a WRX).
