how do you know it was lean....how lean ??

no.doubt it
if its blowing it wont be making as much boost . if you fixed it, then yes it could run leaner due to more boost.

2nd Scotts question...

I had it on the rollers 2 weeks ago and the graph shows it running lean .

Trying to find out what would be making it run lean ?

Could be that the exhaust gasses are escaping (through the blow) before the Lambda sensor or sucking air in off boost and showing up as a lean reading ????

Need to see the RR graph!

Think i left it in the car and its still at Gatwick at the mo

Could needing a new induction kit cause it to run lean ?

if its blocked then no, opposite, rich.

if its got holes in it and is letting fresh air in instead of filtered then possibly..

sounds a puzzling one.

fuel pump ok ? replaced recently ?

Its having a full service at Gatwick at the mo and ive asked them to check the whole car over, only had it 4 months and its been of the road more than on :(

The filter was letting in to much air and wasnt stopping anything going in .

Dave at Gatwick told me it was blowing on the uppipe and that the filter needed changing so i was hoping one of these might have been the problem that SRR picked up on the rollers

Thanks

i'd say the filter ,but the uppipe will be zapping you power / loosing boost.

hope you get it sorted soon !!

do you have a RR plot from Charlies showing the AFR ?
