Rear lights removal

Have undone the 5 nuts behind the lights but they aint budging. :2ponder:
Is there a trick to getting the lights off or shall i just pull harded

Have you found the one on the wing? (assume you have as you said 5) :)

The lights are sealed on with very strong black "stuff"!!!
Warm it up from inside the boot with a hairdryer or paint stripping gun :norty:

The "stuff" goes quite soft and stringy with heat so makesure you don't get it on the paint or your clothes!!!!!!!

I had fun with this mod mate I did it on both of my scoobs and guess what?.... they both leeked, I used a screw driver to gently ease the light from the car, the hardest bit is the corner of the light.

sounds like they are going to get "Round 2" at the weekend. beryl (my neighbour) heard me call my scoob a "f**khead" while i was trying to put exhaust heat wrap on th car today. wasnt my fault i didnt see her. i was under the car! anyway, good luck with the lights at the weekend mate. you might need it. :haha:
