Mot Emissions Testing

does anyone know of any mot test centres who are "lenient" on emissions. my scoob failed the last mot since having decat downpipe fitted

I don't think they can get round the new system now :(

If you have a centre pipe with a cat, you could try fitting that and getting it really hot. If not it's back to refitting the DP for the test :(

my car (97) has passed 2 yrs running with just the center cat...

if you've got one, then it could be kaput...might be worth swapping for a known good one..

unless it was lambda that was out ?

what were the test results?
