take a engine photo and post.
If STi 1 it should have a solid (quite thick) strut brace
An STi build number label on the alternator belt cover

What year is it ??

this can be confirmed by checking the labels attached to the bottom of the seat belts.

If the "model number" on the VIN plate reads GC8C48D it'll be a MY95/96 WRX, though the MY94 WRX and STI use the same model code  so a MY95 could be the same as I don't have a "code" listed for a MY95 STI

MY94 WRX/STI code is GC8B4ED

If it reads GC8C4ED it's a MY96 STI

Looks like a 93-94 240PS WRX to me.
If it were a 260PS 1995-1996 WRX the aerial would be on the rear wing.

Also no sign of a strut brace and it has a regular WRX intercooler rather then the slightly larger Silver STi one.

Have a look at the ECU, which is in the passenger fottwell behind the ally kickplate. If it's a 240PS it will be marked either U8, W6 or 2C.

Editted to say...just spotted the 5th Injector so It's a WRX RA.

:haha: Thank you Scott. You have confirmed what I found today (I was "that" man) ;)

Sep.94-Aug.95 - MY95 - GC8C47D model code. The seats are STI style (black with grey panels) but not STI badge.
5th injector but unpainted manifold.
Water spray and No ABS.

MY95 with a GC8C47D code refers to either a:
260PS (254bhp) WRX RA 4 door :D
Or
275 (272bhp) WRX RA STi 4 door
No STI markings, roof vent or red inlet manifold means it must be the WRX RA :)

Just seen it doesn't have "spats" on the bottom of the bumper, so that conferms it's an RA with side skirts fitted after production :D

Just a side note.
I used to have a strut brace as the sealent has been flattened where it would be fitted.

It have be modded with the cone filter and the Bosch coils.
It woiuldn't have had the STI spoiler as std either, but it does set it off quite well ;)
