Hi Dyney,
Greetings from Normandie.Looking forward to my red brake calipers.Final question regards sports cats. The main work I've had done on my MY02 WRX is Prodrive Performance Package.I don't think this involves any exhaust mods.If correct then I still have to cats on my car.Would I gain any benefits.bhp,by fitting a front sports cat and retaining the centre cat. Also should this kep me completely legal as french police/officials are not friendly and would love to confiscate the car.
Will go to "Caves Berniery" tomorrow to buy some red wine for yourself.Don't tell anyone as they will all be around for a drink.
A bientot,Terry:thumb:

Thats what I thought, Rear box and centre cat. I think on the sti's they change the front cat for a sportscat.

Thanks for info:thumb:

A lot of dealers when fitting the PPP centre de-CAT pipe transfer the heat shields from the CAT pipe onto the new pipe.

A quick look under the car and you would never know the difference. Take a closer look at the pipe and you'll see there's no CAT behind the shields :)

This is what LGW Subaru did with my de-CAT centre pipe. Looks totally stock at first glance.

AFAIK... on the 03-05 PPP ...you get...

1) new back box
2) keep the same centre pipe (the long one with a silencer)
3) new de-CAT centre pipe (small pipe between centre and down pipe)
4) keep the same down pipe (with CAT)

...and of course all other exhaust pipes/CATs stay as they are.
