need a bit of help. had an engine upgrade a while back (done at GT-Art) and have got a check engine light come up. its been on ever since the engine went in. i have an HKS ecu fitted in the car aswell. i took the scoob to Subaru (lancing) friday last week so they could tell me what this code is. i could then let Gary (GT-Art) know what the code is for , thats coming from the original subaru ecu. they couldnt seem to locate the plug needed to do the check, even though Gary assures me its under the dash on the drivers side. lancing subaru rang me yesterday and said that it was down to GT-ART to sort.:2ponder: rang subaru up again this morning to tell them that the plug IS under the dash and that all i need is to know what the code is. anyway they said they would give me a ring back and never did. so what i need to know , is there anyone one here that could or know someone that could tell me what the code is for?
im sorry if ive been a bit vague or confusing. a mixture of stress, night work and running out of coffee is the problem
any help is greatly apreciated. :thumb:

im off to work in a minute, so if you need any more details i will sort out it when i get in ..............4 am-ish :(

All you need to kow about Reading fault codes and resets :) http://www.saxonfields.freeserve.co.uk/Scooby%20Page/ECU%20Diag%20Page.htm#_Reading_ECU_Codes

I'd be interested to see how GT-Art got a new age engine to run in a MY97 car :2ponder: It is possible but quite involved normally.
Or was it just the STI7 bottom end of the engine? :)
