UKs werent , no.
the way to tell is the exhaust note. if it still has dugga-dugga off beat sound then its not.
if its more of a raspy bike type noise (especially on WOT) then it is

Hi Matey
Got any pics? If so get a couple up on the Members Profile section and give us a bit of info.
Do you get over this way at all?

I've got some photos somewhere so I'll try to find them and post up.
As for getting down your way ... alas not very often as love the countryside runs there. Mind you I did get my speeding ticket in Sussex 5 hrs after picking up the car ... and I was just poodling !! Also went to Ben Elliot's first driver training at Ford Airfield ... that was fun ... especially as my car was the quickest by 2 seconds on the sprints.
Car is pretty standard for a Type 20 ... front lip spolier, Type 25 AST suspension, anti-lift kit, K&N panel filter, Milltek 3" exhaust, remap, Type 20 badges and floor mats and mud flaps. I've added guages and just put on some Performance Friction front discs and pads all round as I had metal against metal on the fronts after a recent Castle Combe track day.
Went up to Surrey Rolling road recently to have a comparison against another Hants member that has an 05 JDM STi. Hi was mapped by Bob Rawle and supposedly 370/370 and mine is Powerstation mapped at supposedly 345/320. When compared on the rollers we were both about 334 but my torque was 320 and Iains 340 .. but .. Iain's fueling was pretty rich whilst mine was spot on 11:1. So in summary pretty similar results despite different mappers.
Anyway.. that's me.
Anyone got any 235/45 R17 RE070's knocking around ? ... absolutely love them for the track but have worn mine out now.

I take it the inner edge of the fronts has gone? Mine were somewhat slick by the time I changed them :norty:
I hated them when I had them - really felt slowed by the tramlining, but the current 18" Toyo T1Rs are not a patch on them for grip.
may be a dump que but i take it twin is better
depends on how you like your power

Hi there .. actually they are pretty much all slick all over now after about 12k road miles and 3 day outings to Castle Combe.
The Toyos I now have on have gone on the insides though ... geometry set up for the track ... but far better for day 2 day ... but dont like them very much if I am honest

people say so , but I have no idea in what way ... quicker spool up I think
Twin scroll "should" give an earlier spool up for a simalar sized turbo ;)
But the headers are quite complicated and loose the distinctive Scooby burbble :(
