gearbox oil

tony will be fitting my new gearbox next weekend.It has been drained of oil so my question is which oil and where can i get it from locally.And how much will i need?? its for a sti version 2 box.LSD

I changed mine a while ago & used castrol syntrax, only problem is they only sell it in 1 litre bottles & to do the gearbox & the diff i needed 4 litres.
Got mine from Halfolds £10 a litre

Yep, use Castrol Syntrax.
3.5 litres for the box and 0.8l for the rear diff (If you change that too).
