What sort of power Mikey ?

a standard one should be ok to 300ish

The Excede (sp?) organic plated once are ment to be good (might just be making this up now :p)

I've just had mine changed, kept with the standard one as i have no other power mods under the bonnet, well only a slight few, but not enought to warrant a high spec clutch.

I understand from some of the P1 boys on the P1WOC website, that an aftermarket clutch, such as an ap one are " cheaper " than an oe one and are better in the long run!:2ponder:

My car is about 300 bhp, dont know if i am ever going to mod it to higher figures...

I just want something that is going to be good at getting me off the line for quick starts and also has the ability to take a bit more ooomph just in case i change my mind!!

I had a Lateral organic for about 2 years. Only changed as it couldn't take the tourque on the Rolling Road. Was fine to drive!!

I still have it if you want it. Not even half worn!!! And a lightened flywheel to go with it

I knw Mike Rivett does some very good prices for clutch changes ;)

Thinking about going down the ap route as i can get one for a reasonable price... have also been told they are pretty good!

May be interested in your fly wheel though mate. What make is it?:thumb:

It's a std flywheel, but been lightened and balanced.
I'll dig it out and weigh it but I think it's 8.5kg instead of the 12kg of the std one.
Just light enough to make a difference but still keep a nice idle.

If you do look into lightened flywheels don't go too light or the idle will suffer. Lumpy idle is not nice!

AP is well reguarded.
Call Lateral performance and ask Mark what he charges for his uprated organic (as good if not better than the AP) :)
Don't ask the price of his flywheels though! Not unless your sitting down :)
How can something of less mass cost more?? ;)
